This year there were a number of bills, both good and bad, that we were involved with up at the Utah legislature. Below is a summary of the 1 bill that did pass and a few bills that didn’t.
HB 359 – Eviction Records This bill allows somebody who has been evicted to get their court case “expunged” from the court records so long as they have paid off their debt and the landlord doesn’t object to it.
