The United States Department of Housing and Urban development (HUD) provides grants of money to differing non-profit agencies to perform testing relating to areas of Fair Housing. Utah is no exception. The purpose of this testing is to determine whether landlords are in compliance with Fair Housing. Grants have been given to agencies in Utah and other states in the intermountain region to perform various types of Fair Housing testing. Agencies that receive these grants are not restricted to the state in which they primarily operate.
