Hud issued a Q&A concerning the CARES Act, and opened up the issue of Thirty Day Notices.

On April 26, 2021, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) released a Question and Answers document and guidance concerning the ongoing COVID-19 issues. Part of this guidance addressed the CARES Act, and whether or not a covered property must still be issuing Thirty (30) day notices for non-payment of rent matters. HUD says that it is required still, but that may not be the case.
